New York - The US-Rapper Kanye West beated his opponent 50 Cent in the first round of their "HipHop" battle: Wests new album "Graduation" which appeared at 11th September sells 957 ooo copies.50 Cents album "Curtis" was released at the same day, but he only sells 623 000 copies. Before the battle began 50 told the magazine "Rolling Stone" that if his rival will sell more CDs than he does, he will stop his career.
The 32 years old Ex-Drugdealer of the New Yorker district Queens, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson, has sold 1,14 million copies of his 2005 album "The Massacre" in only four days. Now the grammy-winner Kanye West appears.
5 years ago Ja Rule challenged 50 Cent and he lost. Ja Rule was never seen again in the music business.

Blidge and also Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls supported 50.
