Usher´s expecting a boy

According to MTV News... There is no title or release date scheduled for Usher's follow up to 2004's multiplatinum Confessions, however the Usher says to trust him: He's not going to make us wait too much longer for his new album.

"I'm not doing the Dr. Dre to y'all. I'm not doing the Detox," he added, jokingly referring to Dr. Dre's all-too-long-awaited next album. "I'm on my way. I'm actually just about finished. I've been working on it all this year amongst all the other things I've been doing. It's been a somewhat tumultuous year for me. But you go through something to get to something. I'm a married man with a baby on the way, you gotta love that. That's the next major step. A lot of what I plan to offer with this album is kinda standing in this spot. ... The king's back. I ain't gonna say 'back,' I never left."

In other news.... A representative for Usher confirmed to MTV News on Wednesday (September 26) that the singer and his wife, Tameka Foster, are expecting a baby boy.

"I just want my son to fully be coherent and to be healthy, first and foremost," Usher told People magazine on Tuesday. "I've found that it is a step-by-step process. You can wish for a million and one things. But I hope that my son has the same energy I had as a child. Hopefully, he won't be as bad as me. I hope that he's just a healthy son." Usher previously stated that he would like to name his son Usher also...... "I'm hoping to name him that. I've been playing with a few names. I'm the fourth: Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I'll change the middle name."

EMA Nominations

Justin, Beyonce, Amy Winehouse and Rihanna are all up for loads of our shiny gongs….
Justin Timberlake is up for four awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007 leading the nominations.

Meanwhile Amy Winehouse, Avril Lavigne, Beyoncé, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Nelly Furtado and Rihanna all have three nominations each.

Kanye West will again battle with Justice in the Video Star category- last year he threw a tantrum after losing the award to them.

Britney dissed Timbo: She should apologize!

Say what you will about the outcome, Britney Spears' VMA performance was one of the most-anticipated ones in years. But think how much bigger it would have been had it been billed as Spears taking the stage with former flame Justin Timberlake to perform together. Huge, right? Well, Timbaland - who claims to have nearly collaborated with the singer in the past - says Brit has quashed any chance of a JT collabo taking place anytime soon.

The super-producer told MTV News during VMA weekend that a prospective team-up between the two would be "the best thing that ever happened" and would "help her out a whole lot." But he then dismissed the possibility, saying in so many words that Brit has become big-headed and had dissed him and Justin. "It'll never happen. Nah. It could've, but it won't.

"Timbaland previously said he got close to working with the singer, telling Entertainment Weekly in March, "I just want to take her away, go overseas and work [it] out. ... I asked Justin, 'How would you feel about me working with Britney?' ... 'Would you do it with me?' " Timbaland told the magazine that JT was willing to get involved at the time. "She's just gotta be serious."

Now Timbo has even more advice to give her about getting her career back on track. "She needs a story," he said. "She has no comeback story. That's the problem. She has to have a team. She needs to come back with Justin doing records; [then we'd see headlines like,] 'She went back to her ex and she's making smashes.' [But instead she got] so big-headed and [was] like, 'Screw you, screw you, I don't need nobody.'

"So is there any chance for Spears to rectify the situation and possibly work with Timberlake and Timbaland? Yes, says the super-producer - if she apologizes.

"She should humble herself and make a phone call and say, 'I'm sorry.' She knows what she's sorry about," Tim said. "She needs to say, 'I was wrong,' and it'll definitely move forward. ... That's all she has to say."

Beyoncé asked to tone down sexyness

First it was Gwen Stefani and now Beyonce has been asked to tone down her 'sexiness' for her upcoming concert in Malaysia.

Performers in Malaysia are not allowed to hug or kiss, and their clothes must not have obscene or drug-related images or messages, so I'm guessing no nip slips on stage huh?

"We've informed Beyonce's management about this issue of clothes, but it takes some of the fun out of it," said Razlan Ahmad Razali, chairman of Pineapple Concerts, the company responsible for organizing the Malaysian concert.

"Beyonce won't be able to do the kind of show here that she does elsewhere," Razali told the AP. "She's a fashion icon, and we know that she often wears miniskirts and clothes that expose her navel during her performances. It's a pity to restrict her, because her costumes are all tasteful and glamorous."

Beyonce, who has agreed to tone down her sex appeal, is scheduled to hit the stage in Malaysia on November 1. If I was asked to change my entire performance and costume, I'd rather just skip out on the concert--but that's just me.

Christina Aguilera: It´s a boy!

Now that Paris Hilton has unofficially told the world that Xtina is pregnant the guessing game begins on the sex of the little baby. According to OK! Magazine the news is in. For Christina Aguilera - it's a boy! Or at least it will be when he pops out.

OK! reports that it has learned that Xtina's closest pals are all shopping for some pretty gender-specific gifts. "They're all boy-themed, all blue," a source reveals to OK!. While Christina and hubby Jordan Bratman have yet to confirm that her growing belly bump is actually a baby, the magazine notes that it wasn't just Paris that spilled.

Ken Ehrlich, Executive Producer of this year's Emmy telecast, let it slip to OK! last week when he said, "We're very sensitive to her pregnancy." And let's face it - there was really no hiding that baby bump at the ceremony. She looked stunning and very buxom as she wore figure-hugging, pearl dress.

A few days earlier, Paris Hilton called Christina "the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world" at a pre-VMA party hosted by the mom-to-be.

Rap duet faces court cash claim

A New York record producer has taken legal action against 50 Cent and Lil' Kim, claiming he is owed royalties from a song the rappers performed together.
Carlos Evans alleges his requests for royalties on the 2003 track Magic Stick have been ignored by Atlantic Records.

50 Cent's representative, however, said Mr Evans would be paid once a sample he used had been licensed and paid for.

Magic Stick appeared on Lil' Kim's 2003 album La Bella Mafia and reached number two in the Billboard Hot 100.

Mr Evans claims he was supposed to receive a $7,500 (£3,700) advance plus royalties for producing, engineering and mixing the track.

Damages

In court papers filed at Manhattan's state Supreme Court, however, he alleges he received nothing beyond the initial advance from Rotten Apple Records, a subsidiary of Atlantic.

Mr Evans, who calls himself Phantom of the Beat is seeking $2m (£1m) damages.

Theodore Sedlmayr, Rotten Apple's lawyer, told the Associated Press (AP) news agency Mr Evans would receive what he was entitled to once Atlantic had "straightened out" the accounting.

An Atlantic Records spokesman told AP the company did not comment on pending litigation.

Britney Spears is lately more concered with judges than with musicproducers. And thats not gonna change, because Britney is once again in trouble. The 25 years old Ex-PopStar is arraigned because of hit and run in LA, thats what the Internetservice "tmz.com" is saying.

On 6. August this year Britney hit another car by parking. But instead of calling the police like an responsible fellow citizen, the fellow musician drove away and was filmed by a bad paparazzi.

She didn´t have a valid driving licence, in the case of a conviction she would have to pay a big fine or she would have to go to jail for about six months.

Justin defends Britney

Justin Timberlake has admitted that he feels sirry for the troubled singer Britney Spears.
He also denied rumours that he's getting together with his former girlfriend.

Timberlake said: "There's no ill will. I have nothing but love for her. She has a huge heart. She is great person."

In the past few months, Spears has shocked the world by stripping off and by attempting to relaunch her career with a disaster of a performance on the MTV Video Music Awards. Her parenting skills have also been called into question in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. A judge has now ordered her to take drug test.

Timbaland as Soap-Star

Timbaland wants to become and actor. The Rapper and Producer got a role in the US-Soap "One Life to Live". He is also going to perform his new Single "The Way I Are" in the series. The Producer Frank Valenti is very fond of the 36-years-old musician: "Timbaland is a great artist and Producer and he does his stint to the musicbusiness. I´m a big fan of his music and we are exciting to have him in the series."

KanYe West wins!!!

New York - The US-Rapper Kanye West beated his opponent 50 Cent in the first round of their "HipHop" battle: Wests new album "Graduation" which appeared at 11th September sells 957 ooo copies.

50 Cents album "Curtis" was released at the same day, but he only sells 623 000 copies. Before the battle began 50 told the magazine "Rolling Stone" that if his rival will sell more CDs than he does, he will stop his career.

If "La Lopez" is checking in in a hotel, the staff need to work a little longer. At last she wanted the exact wellness temperatur of 26 degrees in her Luxushotel-suite. She also need Schoko-Cookies, Onionchips, one coffe maker, two ashtrays and a microwave to feel like at home. According to "gala.de". Cookies and Chips???? An interesting diner....
